From September 2005 to 2016, Dr. Matome was the founding Chief Executive Officer of the Local Enterprise Authority.
LEA’s work spanned entrepreneurship, business incubation, access to finance, sector development and opportunity research. In 2015, public reporting described studies profiling opportunities across 13 operating regions, reflecting the need for approaches suited to each region.
